Hi canon souls,

I have a problem when I insert external Mic's into my 5D mk 3 Jack. It produces loud crackling noises at the moment I insert my microphones.
The microphones are perfectly working (Rode SVM & Que Audio Rifle Kit) when I use them on my 60D's and other devices.
But once it gets into my 5D it crackles. I've inserted head phone jacks into the mic port and it seems clear and to work perfect, I can even record off sound using headphones as a mic.

I've also inserted jacks connected to nothing and it produces crackling.

Can someone please assist me with the problem?
